Bulk Water Service

Central Water District customers & their service providers are eligible to complete the below  Fire Hydrant Use Permit, for the purchase of bulk water for use within the Central Water District.


By signing below you agree that this permit, if approved, would authorize the use of a Central Water District-owned fire hydrant for the collection and purchase of bulk water under the conditions set forth below: Central Water District Customers and their service providers are eligible to purchase bulk water for use within the Central Water District. • A $200 permit fee shall be paid to the District, prior to the receipt of the hydrant meter. • The period of use shall not exceed 90 days. • Current consumption rates shall be used to calculate bulk water charges. • The permit holder shall have a copy of this permit in their possession any time water is withdrawn from the hydrant. In addition, a copy of this permit shall also be caried in the truck or with the tank that the bulk water is being stored, such that at all times the permit holder shall be able to show this permit to Central Water District personnel immediately upon request. • The permit holder shall comply with the requirements, rules and regulations of the Central Water District. • The permit holder is fully responsible for any damage or loss to the hydrant and/or the hydrant meter. All charges shall be based on time and materials required to repair damages and/or replace damaged items. • The permit holder shall not use any water truck or tank without prior inspection and approval from the Central Water District Cross Connection Control Specialist. • The permit holder shall pay all applicable water usage and meter fees.
