The Central Water District serves as a regional leader in sustainable water management, and is a trusted source of affordable, high-quality water for the local community.  

Situated in the idyllic Aptos Hills, the District serves approximately 826 domestic, public, commercial, and agriculture customers.  

The water industry relies on a wide variety of skills, aptitudes, and interests to fulfill its mission of providing safe and high-quality water service. Possible career tracks include water distribution, utility billing, and administration. The minimum qualification for most job classifications requires a combination of education and experience that provide the necessary knowledge and abilities to perform the job.
